I just love the way Ballet Folklorico de Mexico performs them and some day I would like my group to dance them as well. This of course is not all l love to dance, another region of love a lot is the Huasteca region, especially that of Veracruz and Hidalgo. These dances to me are all about the foot work and that’s what I like to show my talent with my feet. Yes I love to wave my skirt around and do all the beautiful skirt movements, but I feel that takes away from what does most of the work, my feet. In the Huasteca region all are pretty much knee length and show what your feet are doing. I feel that this region has so much power because of the footwork and the sound of the footwork.

my favorite is veracruz cuz you find the joy of learning and it comes from the heart. i personaly like all except sometimes i find my liking to be difrent form other people and also its hard sometimes when i dont know witch one i like sometimes i like yucatan for the firesta de mi pueblo song because its very joyous and our version of veracruz is very excititng because we all teach others the happiness that comes . :)

You know, I've never seen dances from Tlaxcala. I'd like to see some from there. Personally I like doing upbeat regions like nortes. El Circo has always been a favorite of mine. Maestro Jose Tena came down from New Mexico and taught my high school group Revolucion de Chihuahua; that was a lot of fun, I'd never really acted in dance before, and it was fun getting to play the soldier in El Adios del Soldado.
