Summer Youth Folklorico Dance Program 2009
July 13- August 22
Ages 6-15

Mexico en Movimiento I
Pacifico offers folklórico movement, experience, and vocabulary to children ages 6-15. The program’s focus is to build on the students’ knowledge of dance, folklórico skills, and vocabulary. The concentrated course will provide young dancers an opportunity to strengthen their zapateado skills and define basic dance/folklórico movement. Other areas of focus include choreographic awareness and basic ballet technique and vocabulary.

Ages 11-15:

Tuesdays & Fridays 5-6:30 PM

Start Date: July 14, 2009

Duration: 6 weeks, 12 sessions

Ages 6-10:

Mondays & Fridays 5-6:30 PM

Start Date: July 13, 2009

Duration: 6 weeks, 12 sessions
