Due to popular request, Pacifico is adding a second summer program for the more experienced dancer.
Intermediate/Advanced Summer Dance Program 2009
Mexico en Movimiento II
This is for the more experienced Folklorico dancer. The focus of this course will be to strengthen zapateado skills and technique, plus refine dance/folklórico movement through basic ballet movement and vocabulary. Dancers will broaden their choreographic understanding while enhancing their performance skills. Through this program dancers will take an inside look at the expectations of performing/dancing with Pacifico Dance Company.
Ages: 16-30
Mondays 7-9:30 PM
Dates: July 13-August 17 (6 sessions)
Tuition/Registration
$130 before July 7
$150 on site
*A strong folklorico background is recommended
